structural engineering abroad

I am studying B.tech 4th year civil engineering in a private university of Andhra Pradesh, India with CGPA of 8.23 without any backlogs. I am interested in doing my post graduation in structural engineering and then join the Indian construction industry. I am worried that the codes we use for designing in India are different to other countries codes. So, what are advantages and disadvantages in doing masters in structural engineering in other countries for a person like me? What are the difficulties I could face if I choose to do masters in other countries and then join the Indian construction industry? And could you also suggest me some good universities offering such courses?
