Transfer to a university in another country

Submitted by Nathalie IJ

Hi,
I live in The Netherlands and I want to study medicine in 2017.
It has always been some sort of dream of mine to study abroad, for instance in England or in the United States, but since I think I am not well-qualified enough to get into one of my preferred universities elsewhere, I will probably start my study in The Netherlands.
I was wondering if it is possible to transfer from a university in The Netherlands to one in England or the United States, during my medicine-study.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me if this is a possibility for me. Thank you. :)

Hello, I'd recommend checking the official websites of the universities you're interested in transfering to, to see if they will accept transfer students. Please note that the way in which medicine courses differ between countries may make transfering difficult (but not impossible!) You might like to view our rankings by subject for medicine, which you can narrow down by country. Hope this helps!
