How QS helped me find my dream university in the US

My name is Manali Shetye and I'm originally from Kolhapur. I completed my undergraduate studies in Information Technology at the College of Engineering, Pune. In my professional journey, I have gained experience as a software developer, having worked with both HDFC Bank and TCS.

While working as a software developer, I was engaged in the development of bank loan applications and my interest in the field of Data Science grew. Eager to enhance my technical skills, I made the decision to pursue a Master's in Applied Statistics Data Science at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). 

My academic background in Information Technology has provided me with a strong foundation in programming, data management, and problem-solving skills. These technical competencies acquired during my undergraduate studies have equipped me with a solid understanding of the fundamental principles that form the basis of data science.

This knowledge, combined with my hands-on experience in software development during my professional tenure, serves valuable for success in the Applied Statistics Data Science program.

As my aspiration is to transform myself from software developer to becoming a data scientist, I find that this program aligns perfectly with my career objectives and offers the ideal pathway for achieving my professional goals.

I am immensely grateful for the invaluable support and guidance I received from QS throughout the entire process of shortlisting universities, preparing documentation, completing the application process, crafting my SOP, securing LOR's, and preparing for the visa interview.

As a working professional, finding time for these tasks was challenging, but the QS team's dedicated efforts and hard work streamlined the entire process, significantly expediting my journey.
