Batangas State University, The National Engineering University

With an enduring legacy of 120 years, Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (BatStateU The NEU),  was established by virtue of Republic Act No. 11694, enacted on April 11, 2022. Founded in 1903, this Level IV state university in Batangas, CALABARZON, leads in transformative and advanced learning and serves as an economic development hub. 

Notably, with over 230 topnotchers in professional licensure and certification examinations, BatStateU The NEU stands out for its excellence. Five of its programs have been designated as Centers of Excellence and/or Centers of Development. As the Philippines' first and only state university with programs accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), the Engineering Accreditation Commission, and the Computing Accreditation Commission, it sets a high standard for educational quality and innovation.

Regarded as the country’s largest engineering university, with 46 engineering degree programs at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, it offers an extensive academic portfolio with 223 undergraduate and graduate programs, including 27 emerging engineering and allied fields, ensuring a comprehensive education. Additionally, the institution provides more than 16+ targeted, industry-relevant, and verifiable micro-credential courses designed to meet the demands of the modern workforce.

Moreover, BatStateU The NEU has solidified its position as an innovation hub by establishing the first-ever PEZA-registered BatStateU Knowledge, Innovation, Science, and Technology (KIST) Park.
