Develop expertise in interaction design for a range of contemporary and future-orientated contexts, technologies and platforms.

Interaction design covers digital web platforms (including desktop, mobile and other devices), apps and product interfaces. It can also include design for information systems, way-finding and navigation systems, digital dashboards and controls, as well as wearable technologies, and augmented and virtual spaces. As part of your studies you also explore what makes a good user experience.

Applying for the Interaction Design major: Interaction design is taught in the second and third year of the Bachelor of Design. If you’re interested in this major, apply to study the Bachelor of Design in Communication Design for your first year. From your second year on, you can then move into the Bachelor of Design in Interaction Design.
