Master's in China or Japan - language foundation course?

Hello everybody,
I want to take master's on IR in China or Japan, but I don't know neither Chinese nor Japanese. There are some courses in English but I plan to study in the language of country. Do you know if there are language courses, foundation program for those who apply for master's degree? I know that there is a foundation for bachelors, but not sure about masters. Thanks in advance! ;)
I know that foreign in China
I know that foreign in China can get a HSK certification known as Chinese degree exam.But I think that Chinese is not so easy to learn. I will go China the next year and I have been started preparing for that. Maybe you should attend a pre-course before you go to China.
