Admission requirements

112+
For direct entry to the BSc a typical offer being, at least 112 UCAS points including a minimum of CC at A level or equivalent (e.g. MM at BTEC Diploma; MPP at BTEC Extended Diploma) towards the total tariff. A Level 3 qualification (e.g. A Level or BTEC level 3) in a sport, PE or science related subject. Prospective students with less than 112 UCAS points with demonstrable industry experience will be considered onto the course.
Although not required prior to starting this course, applicants will need to apply for, and obtain an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearing for clinical practice and placement-based modules. Students who are unable to obtain clearance in the first year of the programme will be given the option to transfer to another Birmingham University sports degree programme.

The university is not licensed by the UK Government to sponsor migrant students under the student route and is therefore unable to accept applications from international students at present.
