The traditional MPA is designed for students who will have earned a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university prior to enrolling in the Master of Professional Accounting Program. The program ranges from 31 to 43 required semester credit hours. An internship is an optional component to the MPA program. Students may choose to specialize in one of these tracks: Financial Reporting and Assurance; Managerial Accounting and Control; Taxation; and Generalist. Undergraduate courses offered

Texas BBA

University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business has a range of master’s programs, including those in both business analytics and finance. Both programs are ten months in duration, and provide a solid foundation to launch a career in the business and finance sectors. The school is placed in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.

Both of these master’s programs are ten months in duration. The master’s in business analytics is a STEM-designated program, and students enjoy both support and recruitment from top companies such as Deloitte and Walmart. The program focuses on different disciplines such as applied statistics, computer science, and risk management. The finance master’s is open to all undergraduate majors, and no prior work experience is needed before applying. Class sizes are approximately 50 people. During the last half of the fall semester, finance students will partake in the Practicum, where students work directly with sponsoring companies on finance problems.

GMAT/GRE exams are required for the application process, plus personal essays, three letters of recommendation, and a TOEFL exam score for international applicants (if necessary). For more details on applying, please visit their website.
