The three-year professionally degree course in “Technologies for the Environment, Constructions and Territory” (L-P01) is organized by the University of Siena and it qualifies graduates to exercise the profession of surveyor. The training plan is aimed at the acquisition of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques, including legal contents, for interpreting the complexity of construction, infrastructure, monitoring and land development projects, favouring the transition from traditional design, building and monitoring systems to digital ones, based on the implementation of recent geomatic technologies (e.g., GIS, CAD, BIM, Remote Sensing, Digital Photogrammetry). Practical skills are refined through numerous hours of laboratory activities and practical-evaluative training. The latter, carried out in the third year of the course, introduces students to the world of work, in professional companies and public administrations, and in the exercise of the of freelance career.
