M.Tech. in E-Mobility course explores new challenges of the future of automobile industries and provides a basic understanding of the working of different storage devices – from a single cell to pack level, different motors used in electric mobility, power electronics and drives, drivetrains, and interfacing knowledge.
The M.Tech. in E-Mobility program also includes numerous aspects of electrical charging at the grid level, smart metering, and system integration. To accelerate and adopt electric vehicles in India, Government has launched the National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) in 2020 and proposed 100% electric vehicles by the year 2030. NEMMP is the key motivating factor for the M.Tech. program in E-mobility, and the primary goal of this program is to produce skilled and talented manpower required for future automobile industries.
