General eligibility conditions

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

  • Bishop: 75%

  • Higher Technology School: 3.0/4.3
  • HEC Montreal: 3.0/4.3
  • McGill University: 3.0/4.0
  • Polytechnique Montréal: 2.75/4.0

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student in the M.Sc.A. program. (arrangement), the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies;
  • hold a baccalaureate from the University of Montreal adequately preparing for the studies they wish to undertake, or a diploma deemed equivalent;
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or the equivalent;
  • demonstrate a good knowledge of French and English.
Option Creation and management of development projects

  • unless, on the recommendation of the program director, the dean makes an exception, have worked in a field related to planning for at least two years after their first university degree.

Design and complexity option

  • present a portfolio attesting to the quality of their professional skills.
