General purpose: Train specialized human capital in the different areas of computational intelligence, which are capable of contributing to improving educational, scientific and technological development at a global level.   Specific objectives:
  • Train specialized students in the different lines of research proposed by the program, so that they are capable of solving complex problems through the implementation of mathematical models and algorithms, as well as the latest generation computational tools.
  • Induce in the student the capacity for critical thinking, such that it allows analyzing, evaluating and synthesizing new and complex ideas.
  • Develop in the student scientific skills that allow him to actively participate in various research projects.
  • Provide students with scientific-professional training that favors their insertion in the labor market of the educational, scientific and/or technological sector, either nationally or internationally.
  • Increase the scientific production of the University of Guadalajara through the participation of both students and academics who are part of the program.
  • Strengthen research in basic and applied science in the field of Computational Intelligence.

  • Have a Master's degree or certification certificate in Electronics, Computing, Informatics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electrical, Mathematics, Physics or areas related to the Program, the latter in the opinion of the Postgraduate Academic Board.
  • Comply satisfactorily with the means of selection designated by the Academic Board in accordance with articles 50 to 52 of the General Postgraduate Regulations, and which will be published in the respective call.
  • Demonstrate through an official document the knowledge of the English language of the applicant, accrediting at least level B1 of the common European framework of reference for languages ​​or its equivalent.
