It is a postgraduate academic program that trains, from a clinical, epidemiological, social, promotion and prevention profile, expert professionals who perform efficiently in the knowledge of addictive brain pathology and the complexity of its multidimensional problems so that, through the focus of their discipline, scientific field and professional profile, participate in the comprehensive approach to the patient through teamwork and continuous, systematic and permanent evaluation of the entire problem.
 
This program encourages graduated Teachers to perform in their professional field as leaders who promote and promote the scientific updating of the addictive disease, through dissemination activities, academic training, professional and research assistance, as well as the achievement of professional skills., with which they will be able to analyze, plan, apply and evaluate plans, programs and actions in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and social reintegration for each particular case, with a gender perspective and in different contexts, under ethical codes and professionals in the field of Health Sciences.

Professional in the field of Health Sciences, preferably: General Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology, Infectology, Psychology, Pharmacobiologist Chemist, Dental Surgeon and Nursing, as well as other professions related to prevention, diagnosis, treatment of addictions and reintegration social in addition to other fields that have professional relevance in the multidimensional complexity of addictions, for the consideration of the Academic Board of the program.
The applicant must have a basic inter and multidisciplinary understanding of the human being, basic knowledge of research methodology, with the ability to understand scientific texts in Spanish and English, and basic knowledge of office automation. As well as critical analysis in Neurosciences.
