Doctor of Chemistry program aims to be the leading study program in Indonesia in the development of human resources and science and technology with the main competencies of developing chemical knowledge and technology and become a reference for chemical research in agriculture, both nationally and internationally through inter- or multidisciplinary research approaches. It aims to produce graduates who master a set of chemical knowledge which includes structure, properties, energetics, kinetics, analysis, and synthesis. Graduates will be able to rationally propose the formulation of science and technology problem solving, apply appropriate methods to arrive at the solution to the problem, test the correctness of the solution, and interpret the results.

Bachelor’s Degree in IPB University is a four-year program. Since 2005, IPB University has offered the major-minor curriculum that allows students to choose from more than 500 combinations of competencies. This opportunity allows scholars of IPB University to obtain double competencies, even a double degree to enable them to compete in the job market. Their competencies are not limited to the activities of on-farm agriculture, but also off-farm agricultural activities which cover, among others, agribusiness and agro-industry. There are 10 faculties and 39 study programs to choose from.
