Master in Small and Medium Industry program aims to develop adaptive, competitive and synergistic professional education programs in an effort to improve the quality and professionalism of knowledge-based SMEs through collaboration between various actors at the national and international levels. This program aims in preparing qualified and accredited professional graduate graduates supported by mastery of science and technology to be immediately applied in managing independent SMEs and developing entrepreneurship. Graduates of this master will be able to master and apply the principles and theories of management science and industrial technology in technical and managerial functions in IKM. They also will be able to use management methods (marketing, finance, production, human resources and strategic/renbang) through applied research with an inter, or multi-disciplinary approach.

Bachelor’s Degree in IPB University is a four-year program. Since 2005, IPB University has offered the major-minor curriculum that allows students to choose from more than 500 combinations of competencies. This opportunity allows scholars of IPB University to obtain double competencies, even a double degree to enable them to compete in the job market. Their competencies are not limited to the activities of on-farm agriculture, but also off-farm agricultural activities which cover, among others, agribusiness and agro-industry.
